"If you've been playing poker for half an hour and you still don't know who the pipsqueak is, you're the pipsqueak." (Warren Buffett) For everyday people fomo'ing into semiconductors and rocket ships like NVDA, as institutional money dumps out...if you don't see the trap, you are the one being trapped. @Osint613 They are punking Trump and winning, they know he has congress, economy, and congressional elections coming up, all of which should have been easily predicted and briefed to him before this all started. Either intel failed him miserably, or he ignored it thinking he knows best.

IRAN NEGOTIATIONS RESPONSE WSJ and Al Mayadeen report that Iran is demanding an end to the blockade, unrestricted oil exports, sanctions relief, the release of frozen assets, a ceasefire in Lebanon, and continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz. On the nuclear issue, Tehran is offering to dilute part of its enriched uranium and transfer the remainder to a third country, with guarantees it would be returned if talks collapse. Iran wants all negotiations routed through Pakistan and says nuclear talks would begin only after the war ends. The main sticking point may be Lebanon, which Tehran included as part of the broader deal.

@xAviation Protection details are out there all the time. That doesn't look like part of one, but regardless, their should have been an ops type shutting that down immediately, followed by a visit from the airport pd.

@Jennyil @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota I think reaching across race and demographic is important and something we need right now. Yes, it lowers the common denominator a bit, but 90% of the rhetoric never makes policy anyway due to congress. I'm out for the night, I enjoyed the conversation!

@ManCave72 @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota Majority of Boomers vote for Democrats and they are a shrinking portion of the electorate. Majority of white GEN X vote for the GOP every election - why would a DEM candidate focus on their votes when there are more Democratic Millennials?

How did America go from Obama to Trump? Maine Senate candidate @grahamformaine tells @davidsirota it wasn’t some great mystery: Democrats bailed out banks, abandoned working people, and let corporate power keep running the party. Go and listen to the full episode over on The Lever's Youtube channel.

@Jennyil @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota I think "Ignoring" a quarter of the voting bloc is a bad idea...boomers and genx are about half, with genx/millenials the other. I have never heard a serious politician say it is smart to ignore an entire demographic.

@ManCave72 @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota GEN X - one of the smallest generations and the one that votes against their own interests in the largest numbers making them no longer relevant now that the Millennials have grown up and show up to vote. Smart candidates will ignore you.

@ManCave72 @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota Millennials are the largest generation now - they vote for Democrats. Younger voters are too. So it is no longer worth it for serious candidates to chase members of GEN X who are never going to vote for them anyway.

@ManCave72 @LeverNews @grahamformaine @davidsirota Every DEM candidate I hear from leads with their economic policies - some are nonsense but they are at the front of their messaging. That is not always what gets picked up in the press or on social media - so you heard what you wanted to.

Maybe I phrased my original comment poorly....I meant dems stopped leading with the economy as in stopped messaging it. I am an independent but I believe dem policies are better for the economy. My dad (everyone on my street) were hardcore democrat steelworkers....and all that i am aware of voted against their own economic self-interest due to what they perceived as an overly-liberal democratic party. I think many dems agree that the messaging was pretty bad for nearly a decade.

🚨 Extreme Distortion & Dislocation SPX relentlessly ripping higher while equal-weight is abandoned. The same extreme distortion and market dislocation we saw at the dot-com peak a handful of mega-caps masking a weak foundation. Breadth is collapsing. When this fragile structure finally cracks, the fall will be brutal. History doesn’t repeat... but it’s ......... The exact same narrow leadership that preceded the dot-com crash. Yours truly, The Great Martis ✨

The party moved left and pissed people off. I voted for Obama twice, thought he as great and still do. But - in my humble opinion - a lot of blue dog democrats are/were socially conservative and didn't like the stuff I already mentioned, and part shifted quite a bit left. I am far from the only one to say this. People tend to vote on emotion and social issues get emotional for both sides. Just my opinion.

I still remember the backlash when President Obama did the transgender bathroom policy in schools in 2016 and to me it seems like the part swung left from there...cancel culture, "social justice." cultural appropriation faux rage, gender identity, etc. A lot of socially conservative democrats (and independents) said enough is enough. Just how I personally see it.

They either want retail investors and "community" or they don't. And from how bad they suck at both, it appears they don't. Johann's communication is borderline incompetent, which is fine save for all the bullshit promises, insinuations, and predictions he has made for years. This project changes course twice a year, which tells me they are desperately chasing any exposure they can get, which also tells me his line of shit about "we have amazing partnerships but sorry, NDA" is just that. This project reeks of shit talk with a struggling ability to tangibly back it up.

$QANX community devs welcome the latest news. People who have built visible apps and engaged throughout the process are the opinions you should seek. Johann may not know how to talk to retail, but obviously he knows how to engage enterprise and government. It is frustrating as a retail holder that the team can't quite figure out how to share news and manage expectations at this stage. The news is positive, Johann is thrilled, and yet it doesn't provide the substance or assurance that these agreements strengthen the prospects without further delay. It has to be disappointing for everyone involved that this news had a negative result. There must be someone who can provide feedback before communications go out. As an FYI, the follow up questions give us mainnet ETA of 2026.

@ekwufinance During those individual rallies, was the market showing overvalued or was the data showing it was fairly valued at the time?

Right before the 2000 dot-com crash, the S&P rallied 12% to reclaim its previous highs... Those who went max long because “the internet is the future” were right, but still lost 50% over the next 2 years. And the crash wasn’t linear. To make sure every last bull stayed in (and then got wiped out), we had 3 separate 20% bear market rallies... Only after everyone was fully shaken out did we bottom in 2002. It then took ~14 years just to break even on a nominal basis... And by that point, most were too scarred to fully participate in the next bull run. Lesson: Don't participate in historically overvalued markets, especially not when that overvaluation coincides with the biggest crisis in human history
