Let’s tax empty second homes in NYC even if they’re only worth ~ a few million dollars ~ and not just $5M+

Today I stood with the Gowanus Houses community, @BLMGreaterNY, and civil rights advocates to demand justice for my constituent who was violently beaten by two officers. Those officers must be held fully accountable.
I’ve been in touch with the Mayor, Police Commissioner, and the Brooklyn DA’s office. I appreciate the Commissioner’s swift action in removing the officers’ firearms and badges, and the DA’s decision to drop charges against my constituent.
I join the community in calling for a full investigation and prosecution. We must end police violence in NYC.
