Some news: I've learned that Elisabeth Hasselback, a former Fox & Friends co-host and conservative commentator on The View, will be guest-hosting an hour of the CBS' morning show next week from Monday to Wednesday — though she won't be doing hard news segments. It's being seen internally as a sort of "try out," considering that the show is missing a third host, though the network will also be testing out other hosts throughout the summer

I was an intern at @CBSNews when Pelley would fill in for Katie Couric on the evening news. I watched in the control room one day as he directed them to slowly push the shot in on him as he took his glasses off. It was so fake I’ve remembered it for 15 years.
