Verhoeff is a 6’4”, 214 lbs or so defenseman and shoots right. If he’s a smart enough defenseman to know about the other prospects that’s a huge plus in his favor because one of the toughest things to teach is hockey IQ.

One last #NHLDraft combine thought: Keaton Verhoeff is an observant dude. Knows a lot about the top prospects in this draft class. Gave really good analysis about everyone he was asked about throughout the year. Feels like a guy who'll be a scout or a GM In the NHL one day.
