This is absolutely insane. This has to be a first. The LA Kings are tied for a playoff spot at 79 points. They have played 75 games. They have 19 regulation wins. They have only won 19 out of 75 games in regulation. AND THEY ARE IN A PLAYOFF SPOT.

Fracture + Dislocation of his L thumb
Several possibilities here including multiple types of thumb fractures and almost always are there ligaments sprained/torn (in order to allow for the dislocation).
My guess is he has surgery and misses 4-8 weeks, possibly up to 12 weeks if it’s really complicated.
Good news is that it’s his left thumb, and his a righty for both hitting and throwing. This means a faster return than if it was on his right.
Tough and unfortunate injury / timing.

Alejandro Kirk also had a dislocation in his thumb along with the fracture. He’s meeting with a doctor Monday to determine whether surgery (or a pin) is needed. #BlueJays

Unfortunately as with many other aspects of Bitcoin maximalism their ideology has once again led them into direct conflict with base reality. (Prior examples: stock to flow model, lightning network, bitcoin as an MoE, endless NGU, hyperbitconization, DATs, nation state adoption, altcoins destined to fail - all collapsed doctrines)
The anger they feel is because they are unable to reconcile the tension yet again and they know deep in their hearts that they have been led astray by their cherished grand inquisitors

Who?! There really is no story here if @althiaraj doesn't actually name anyone who's saying these things. I sit in this caucus, and I can say that this piece is a massive misrepresentation of the current feeling. If anything, I'd say the prevailing sentiment is one of positive momentum and optimism - the opposite of the picture this person, WHO IS NEVER IN THE ROOM, is constantly painting. As far as a leader asking his or her leadership team to reflect on their accomplishments - that's pretty standard protocol for someone (in any organization) trying to build the strongest team possible, with people in positions they feel they are best able to make contributions in.
