@stellacreasy Are you inferring that Faiza was somehow responsible for this? One of the reasons I have voted to select her twice now is that she is able to bring together many different members of our community regardless of their race, age, religion etc. She works for all of us.

Appalling to see this happen in our borough and condemn without reservation. Any candidate worth voting for should want to win by the power of our ideas and clarity of organisation, not through feeding off the culture of intimidation and division being stoked in our nation.

@azb2019 @etymologic @siennamarla We in Chingford and Woodford Green are very unhappy. Faiza was an excellent candidate who has worked tirelessly since 2019 to support our community. Never voting Labour again.

@TaKenUK1 This is never ok. We are not commodities. I have seen glossy fostering referrals like this. I can imagine in the future the children will be very upset to see this.

@aqualavender @ccwild79 Agree with this. I am in the process of applying for one for a 17-year-old. Young people need to be able to thrive not just survive. An EHCP could be the pathway to independence.

@ccwild79 Shouldn't all children in care have an automatic EHCP that remains in place until they're 25? Couldn't it contain gradually reducing transition support over that time such that they're independent by that age? Mustn't we have a national conversation about this?

Children 16+ placed in a travelodge with food bank vouchers. Unfortunately there's a strick rule of no cooking in these hotel rooms, unless it requires a kettle. So that means noodles three times a day and cupa soup. The young people in our care system are told to make good use of charitable donations like it's the inevitable outcome. And then we question how the majority of these vulnerable children become easy targets for criminal organisations. #changeiscoming
