Since I got arrested by kanjo, I have been researching the different types of licenses that you require to operate your business legitly without kanjo ever finding a mistake. I can confidently conclude that it is better not to start any business in Nairobi or Kenya in general.

We're now on our way to City Hall. I hope this day will end well. I knew there were payments for roadside signs, I didn't know that small signs on top of your shop also need a license and that it was that expensive, 9k si mchezo. I also didn't know that you couldn't pay from where you are. You have to go to City Hall for some reason.

Anyone else having trouble finding fuel in Nairobi? Got turned away at two different stations on waiyaki way. Then another one near Gateway mall is only giving fuel worth 1k “on orders”. I thought we were told by govt that we shouldn’t have any issues with supply?
