At the 10/6 Bob Lewis Scout Day, 2026 LHP @MaybinPeyton of @NHHS_Baseball_ did what he normally does; put batters down in order The barrel-chested Lefty was sitting 80-83. Filled it up; got off the barrel-contact. Retired the side in order. Swung it well both in BP & Live. 2027 OF/Util Cameron Hannah of @NHHS_Baseball_ has worked his tail off to develop into a potential 3 Year Starter for Coach King and the Knights. The Knights are another Mountain Program that develops and wins with "Program Guys." Hannah has used every resource available through the Knights program to get better, bypassing the Travel/Showcase Circuit It worked for his older brother too, @alexhannah05 who is now at @RCCEagsBaseball. Cam is 6ft 150, slender w/ more room for muscle. Moves very well in the OF, good aggressive routes, plays through the ball well, good footwork. Flashing some hand speed at the plate; balanced, level; hips flash; needs to work bat path/extension. Gets the bunt down. 3.9 GPA

High Academic Pitching Project! 2026 RHP @BlakeTay55 of @NHHS_Baseball_ is still relatively new to baseball & needs to build up meaningful innings, but he has 6'3" 215 lbs frame, is starting to climb high 7s, & has the dedication needed to reach his ceiling He started working with @novapitching this past Summer and has made tremendous gains. He's focusing on the Biomechanic aspects of pitching and building proper, college-level routines for warming up, bullpen work, stretching, lifting, & recovery. He's a pretty "fresh" arm that has limited innings thrown. Will have a chance to earn innings for young North roster looking for secondary arms to step up. 3.9 GPA, 26 ACT, seeking a Finance Degree

2026 OF/C @Dylan_28kl - @NHHS_Baseball_ - 3.7 GPA, seeking Pre-Dental (Bio) Kleinknecht has made a reputation as one of the fastest athletes in WNC. In fact, he's starting to gain interest from College Track Teams as well! Dylan ran a 6.64 on June 4th; he's also ran times for me in the past year between 6.60 and 6.69. Along with the speed, Dylan continues to become more physical. In fact, look at the physical gains he's made compared to his past films: June 2024: youtube.com/watch?v=Svs2bP… June 2023: youtu.be/5T_QMAKfImY?si… Exit Velos with a BIG jump, now topping at 92 (avg of 82 MPH last year). Good extension in the swing; still needs to quiet the head a bit in the stride/load to help with timing. Stolen base threat, every time. Could challenge @Braydencorn21's North Henderson Stolen Base Record in 2026. Overall, Kleinknecht is developing into an intriguing speed/power prospect. Will have quality options at the 4 year and JUCO level, especially with his grades. Still needs to work on the consistency of his throws and PopTimes, but popped a couple between 1.98-2.00. Arm action plays better in the OF (pitching potential as well from a true OTT slot). Dylan was a 1st Team All Mountain 7 Conference selection (Honorable Mention in 2024), helping North Henderson make the Playoffs for a 2nd straight season. Dylan can be seen playing for @VeloBaseballWNC this Summer

2026 LHP @MaybinPeyton - @NHHS_Baseball_ - 3.8 GPA Maybin has put together a very impressive resume over the last year: All State, Two Time All Conference, @StateGamesNC Selection. He's been one of WNC's most consistent prospects since 2024 I've had Maybin up to 84 MPH in game, sits 80-82; he gives hitters absolute fits as he delivers from a low, wide slot that creates awkward angles for hitter to try and attack. Added a CH to repertoire this season (FB, CB, SL, Split) Maybin is an intriguing prospect as much of his success can be attributed to his unique offering/slot that gives hitters fits. He also showcases a Game Day Grit that his hard to teach. The ceiling remains high as Maybin has made recent commitments to his Player Development, including working with @novapitching Should have quality options at JUCO & 4 Year. If he stays sharp and makes a couple more physical jumps; I can see Maybin pitching at the D1 level one day, and with his Stuff, he could get that opportunity with mid to high 8's Velo if he puts up numbers early in his college career. Playing this Summer with @VeloBaseballWNC

No one is working harder to get where they want to go than this NH alum! He has been at our facility every day this summer working on his game, working kid camp and preparing some of our other guys for their college jump. Incredibly proud of this STUD!!
