Eurosummer is getting closer and many asked: where in Italy is ideal for a true dolce vita summer. I put together a list based on personal preference. 9 spots: 5 obvious, and 4 less obvious that Italians also often choose. A post slightly different from the usual, because this week was my birthday and tomorrow I'm hosting friends for a legendary BBQ. Yesterday I bought an infinite supply of Aperol and 30 fresh burratas. I couldn't not think of dolce vita. Mocassins, linen, positive vibes, "Pavarotti mode". Here's the list of places that make you want to cruise top-down in a vintage 911 or Alfa Spider, pull over for an aperitivo and spaghetti alle vongole on the beach. 🧵

Live look at Belcarra, BC for a comfortable Beach Day in Metro Vancouver. Tuesday late afternoon into evening gets very interesting for the higher hills of Metro Vancouver. Anyone above 150m elevation may actually see Snowflakes falling at times. In the heaviest showers, sea level chance is also not 0%. No accumulations should be expected outside of a trace though as the ground is way too warm. Graupel/Snow Pellets is likely as well. An unusually cold late winter blast for SW BC as an inside slider storm impacts us. Sucks that it's mid April now. Early November to mid March and this would have been Snow for all elevations with a flash freeze for good measure. ☹️ If you get Snow on Tuesday or even Wednesday, enjoy it. Definitely the last time you will see any falling at your house in Metro Vancouver for at least the next 7 months... With a potential Moderate to strong El Nino on the way, I'd wager waiting even longer for the next chance of very low elevation Snowfall in Metro Vancouver... #bcstorm
