@TTTaxer @laftpopo2 Wait is the dev actually a troon? I didn't understand the hate this game was getting either, thought it looked pretty decent but I definitely am a bit skeptical now if the dev is a tranner.

@laftpopo2 I don't think trans hate is deserved, nor is automatically hating a game because its developer is trans.

I want to clarify a really important point I do not believe that Britain is ‘broken’. Restore Britain does not believe that Britain is 'broken'. That’s a lazy, boring, pessimistic, defeatist way of looking at our country - it fundamentally misunderstands where the real problem lies. It's a shitty little soundbite that downplays who we are and what we can do. Britain is not broken. Our people are not broken, our attitude is not broken, our history is not broken, our culture is not broken. Not yet. Soon, but not yet. What is broken is the British state. The bloated, the rotten, the corrupt British state. That is an entirely different problem. Travel around this country and you will find decent, hardworking, generous people. Funny people. Good people. Patriotic people. You will find people doing the right thing every single day. Trying their best to make their way in life. They are not broken - they are more determined than ever. The strength of this country has always been its people. It is certainly NOT the machinery that governs them. A political class addicted to short-term thinking, a state that expands endlessly but delivers less and less. THAT is broken. Not the people, but those governing them. None of this is failure of our people. We have voted against it all, again and again. We have been betrayed, we have been let down. Each and every time. Britain remains the most remarkable nation on earth. We have talent. We have resilience. We have humour. We have fight. What we lack is a state that matches the courage of its people. As a political party, that is what Restore Britain believes. We are optimistic about what can be done, what will be done. We believe that there is still time. It is not too late to Restore Britain. Just. I hope you will consider supporting us in that mission.

@kingbdogz We're missing stairs and slabs in green. Mossy cobblestone or exposed copper are the closest we've got but an olive green wood type would be ideal.

Thanks, Rael. I think Reform is very much calibrated for success now and will get a big boost from the May elections. The first tranche of Shadow Cabinet formation will also be important and my fingers are crossed for Suella to be given responsibility for education as I know it's an area of passion for her where she is knowledgeable and has a good track record with free schools.

Rupert Lowe formalising Restore Britain as a party is not a game changer. Nor is it a strategic threat to Reform UK and our prospects of a majority. It may even be helpful to Reform in terms of drawing a few unpleasant people out of the membership for good and providing a helpful contrast that shows Reform is very much a mainstream civic patriotic party. The other good thing about this development is that Lowe, for all his faults and ego, is to his credit unashamedly Thatcherite on the economy and the role of the state. If he makes the running on these issues it may mean Reform also strengthens the detail of its own offering in these areas further. That is welcome. Competition can improve our ideas.

Reminder that Link was never a "silent" protagonist, he was almost always presented as a musical prodigy, a Bard Knight, this is why modern Link feels so boring in comparison.

The Holocaust stands as one of the darkest stains on humanity: the systematic murder of six million Jews, each one an individual life extinguished by a hatred that sought to erase the entire Jewish people. As we mark Holocaust Memorial Day, we confront that truth directly, because remembrance is the first defence against denial, distortion and prejudice. Together, we look back and challenge antisemitism wherever it appears. And ensure that ‘never again’ is a promise we uphold, not just a phrase we repeat.

@Ultimate_X64 @doctorbionicle It could have been a good set if it was just Gannon, Link and Zelda for like £40. The pointless terrain and rubble just inflates the part budget.

@doctorbionicle thing is, this is an actual good set with the chance of play (Ganon is articulable) i think "18slop" applies to sets like the new Pokémon sets, while cool they dont have much going on besides display

@Majewra @Wario64 Price per peice isn't too abnormal but that is a bit of a flawed metric since a lot of the pieces in this set have gone into the all the tiny details covering the unnecessary base.

@davidducc @EmpHadrianus @Wario64 It could be. Remove the unnecessary base and you've got a decent playset for half the price. But then normie adults would be too insecure to buy it.

@AurumHunter @just_blacky @EmpHadrianus @Wario64 The thing is, sets don't need to have that large a piece count. I would guess close to half of the pieces in this set have gone into the base. A lot of those pieces are tiny as welll, which needlessly inflates the peice count.

In 2023, only 95 abortions, out of 278,000, were to save the life of the mother. The rest are just kids that would be walking and talking by now. The White British birth rate is around 1.1, replacement rate is 2.1. It's time we had this conversation.
