@NoMdevelopment If the depositor can always exit it breaks fungibility. If you want fungibility it introduces a trust assumption. If you want both fungibility and depositor exit without trust, you need Bitcoin script to be able to condition spending on external state == covenants.

What is to prevent Bob from using Leaf 2 to sweep the BTC back to himself on Bitcoin leaving the 1 eBTC unbacked?

@econoar We can do better than Ethereum. How about an L1 that scales, no L2 needed, with a next gen smart contract cloud that never touches the L1? Just like we've learned from Lightnings mistakes, we also learned from Ethereums mistakes. $ZNN, the next level of Bitcoin infrastructure.

@NoMdevelopment @0x3639 I’m definitely creating rules... a protocol of sorts.
It’s general purpose and not very deterministic yet. The challenge will be reducing the scope toward specific use cases that are verifiably binary and equally meaningful.
Either way, the tooling must come first.
