I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

You're a real piece of shit. How many Bronze Stars did you earn? Joe has 6. How many years did you serve? Joe served 20. How many tours in combat did you serve? Joe did 11 combat deployments. Did your kids lose their mom in combat? Joe's did. How many of these do you have: Army Commendation Medals, Combat Infantry Badge, Special Forces Tab, Ranger Tab, Military Freefall Parachutist Badge, Scuba Diver Badge etc, etc. If you're so hot on fighting a war suit up and go, but you won't, you sit behind your computer in your air conditioned office and squeak like a little bitch. I wonder if this guy Joe Kent was about to be fired but quickly resigned first.  That's how these things typically work.  He's part of that radical isolationist Woke Right cabal.  Watch how the leftwing media use him to attack the president and the military campaign against Iran.  In part, that's why he wrote that letter.  I wonder if he was one of the leakers in the administration.  Just asking questions.

Imagine you walk into a casino... You sit down at a slot machine. You put in your life savings. You pull the lever. 7-7-7. Jackpot. You just won millions. But before the machine pays out... the Casino Manager walks over, reaches behind the machine, and pulls the plug from the wall. The screen goes black. He looks at you and says: "Sorry, technical glitch. The casino wins." You would burn the building down. You would call the police. You would scream that it's a scam. Well, that is exactly what just happened to ANYONE who bought silver. And nobody is going to jail. Big Banks (like JP Morgan) bet billions that the price of silver would go DOWN. But regular people started buying. The price went UP. The banks were losing money so fast they were staring at bankruptcy. So what did they do? Did they pay up? Did they admit they lost? No. They literally turned off the computer. The London Metal Exchange "paused" trading. HSBC's systems "went offline." They unplugged the slot machine while you were winning. While the screens were off, they changed the rules. They forced the price down behind closed doors. When they turned the screens back on, your profit was gone. They kept their money. You lost yours. JP Morgan paid $920 million in fines for manipulating silver prices. Not as punishment. As a cost of doing business. They made far more than $920 million from the manipulation. The fine was just the entry fee to keep cheating. And here's the part that should really piss you off. For every 1 ounce of real silver sitting in a vault, there are 300 paper claims. Futures contracts, ETF shares, options, derivatives. All promising the same metal. They sold you silver that doesn't physically exist. And the entire system works because they assume you'll never actually ask for the real thing. That assumption is starting to break. COMEX vault inventory has dropped 75% since 2020. Last month, 47 million ounces were claimed for physical delivery in just four trading days. That's 60% of available inventory. Gone. In a week. Institutions figured out the arbitrage. If paper silver trades cheaper than physical silver, you can buy the paper contract and demand delivery of real metal. Free money. So they're doing it. In size. JP Morgan alone took 12 million ounces of physical delivery in a single month. The same bank that paid $920 million for manipulating the price downward is now hoarding the actual metal. They're not even hiding it anymore. Every time they "pause" trading or force cash settlement instead of physical delivery, more people lose faith in the paper market. More people demand real metal. Inventory drops further. The 300:1 ratio gets worse. They're accelerating the exact crisis they're trying to prevent. This isn't a free market. It is a casino where the house unplugs the machine when you're winning, pays a small fine, then goes back to dealing from the bottom of the deck. The only question is whether you can see the plug getting pulled before it happens. i track COMEX vault levels, paper-to-physical ratios, and institutional delivery data in real time through tradevision. when 60% of available inventory disappears in four trading days, that data is visible before the price moves. the institutions watch these numbers religiously. now you can too. (the 300:1 ratio has held for decades because nobody asked for their silver. people are asking now.)

🚨Wait... did Secretary Rubio just say that we went to war with Iran because Israel forced our hand? That's what I take from this comment... am I wrong? Should a foreign nation - friend or foe - be controlling American policy and forcing us into war? I'm interested in real comments - trolls shouldn't waste their time.
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47

.@SecRubio: "The president made the very wise decision—we knew that there was going to be an Israeli action, we knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces, and we knew that if we didn’t preemptively go after them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties."

Breaking: WAR in IRAN First, and I believe most important, is for all Americans to steady themselves for a lot of misinformation. This will come from all angles of attack. In war and intelligence reporting we say, first reports are always wrong. That’s a good starting point for us all. War is never in any nation’s interest unless national survival is at stake. In America, the decision to go to war should be a joint decision by the executive and legislative branches of government. There will be untold costs and consequences and our nation must be together on this issue—like it or not, our nation going to war is not the sole prerogative of the executive branch. We should demand that Congress has skin in this “game” just as our President and our military forces have skin in it. For a minute, consider the lost resources spent fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan (trillions of $’s and thousands of lives), never mind Ukraine and Venezuela (we still have a naval armada minding this critical part of the world). We also need to consider what responses might come from China (ie., Taiwan), Russia (use of Nukes), or Turkey (a NATO ally, hopefully they sit this one out), and is our homeland at risk to terrorist counter-strikes? That said, a PROLONGED war is never in America’s interests. However, once war is waged, it is an unleashing of emotions that can easily cause it to be endless. We’ve been told time and again, America can no longer afford endless wars. That is a seriously true statement, we really cannot afford another endless war or conflict. Therefore, we want to see if our Congress will respond with full throated support for our military operations and our troops. We also want them to vote their beliefs whether or not they support these actions. We also want there to be as much transparency as possible from our White House on those clear objectives that describe vital national security interests, precisely how long this war will last and what objectives, once achieved, will allow us to rapidly extract ourselves from this war. We have far too many problems here at home and we cannot afford open ended ventures back in the Middle East on behalf of others. We have to get back to taking care of America First as fast as possible. Pray for our troops and like millions of Americans, we want to be at peace. We also want freedom loving people around the world to know we stand with your fight to achieve freedom and once achieved, we will open the doors of America to fully embrace your desire to live freely and in peace. But also understand achieving freedom takes sacrifice and comes at a cost. Americans understand that, our own American Revolution is a perfect example of sacrifice. For those that don’t understand scale and scope, Iran is four times the size of California with over 90 million people. A few strikes and a few days does not solve all of its problems. The people of America need to understand this while the people of Iran are living it. In war, the best plans provide the most options right up to the last possible minute. I know our military is exceptional and well led. But going to war is also a failure of diplomacy and policy. Remember, Iran also had many chances to come to the table. Let’s pray @realdonaldtrump sits his team down and has solutions for the long haul. I believe he does but the bureaucratic challenges he faces are immense. God bless America and may God keep us safe and secure in the days, weeks and months ahead. Pray for all those in harms way, especially our great military🙏🏼🇺🇸
