@icantthinkuvat Toriyama really did downplay how much effort he put in that story. He jokes a lot but he created a great story through a weekly time frame. You can’t make a story like Dragon Ball and develop characters like Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta by not giving a shit.

Finished the season with 44 wins, beat Miami in super memorable fashion, and were a top-10 team by almost any metric over the final 3 months of the season.
