*Letter to the Nigerian Senate* The Petition of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Must Be Independently Investigated and Openly Discussed in a Public Hearing that the Accused Does Not Preside. Two Demands: 1. Swiftly Appoint an Independent Investigator on the Petition of Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan. Cc: @icpcnigeria 2. Elevate the status of the proceedings on Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan by the Ethics and Privileges Committee into a Public Hearing for full transparency and disclosure. Our National Assembly @nassnigeria which comprises the @NGRSenate and @HouseNGR belongs to the Nigerian People and not to politicians of any stripe and status. This is why the National Assembly is called a Public Institution. No individual nor collection of individuals and their groups can capture a Public Institution and use to their personal benefit or advantage. Whenever a situation as the one involving Senators @NatashaAkpoti and @Senator_Akpabio occurs, the Lawmakers must understand the Nigerian public want transparency and full disclosure. Dismissing a serious accusation against the Senate President just like the Senators irresponsibly did yesterday is a Democratic Aberration. It cannot stand. Never. What happened yesterday in the Senate Chamber where a Senate President presided over a grave matter involving him, was farcical and a blot on our Democracy. It is in our Public Interest that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s petition be urgently given the seriousness it deserves to defend the institutional integrity of our Senate. Act correctly now, @NGRSenate !✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

You are doing a protest to say No To Protest. Why didn't they stay at home and pray? Just as selfish and irresponsible Governors have been telling citizens to pray and not protest

His Constituency, Pankshin/Kanan/Kanke is a place where one could feel poverty and underdevelopment. Some communities there do not have portable drinking water but share the same stream with cows and other animals yet this man could publicly rob this on their teary eyes. Shame!

I just watched this video and I am blown away! From 1:40mins when the boy asked, "Oh Thunder, where are you?!!!! This is the time you're supposed to strike! Or join them all in one aeroplane and..." 🔥🔥 I lost it! 😂 I can imagine that some people would be uncomfortable with this child's level of confidence, his intellect & his aspiration for more, because the poorer & uneducated we are, the easier we are to control. A reflection of why a presidential candidate once casually remarked that, "90% of Northerners are not online." God bless and preserve him, his teachers, his schoolmates and his parents.

Nigeria has become a joke, everyone praising the president for not interfering with the judgement of the judiciary, a co-equal arm of government. Should the president have a say in court judgements in the first place. We have enthroned mediocrity and sacrificed our sanity in Nigeria!

Their ultimate aim is to isolate this man. But we must never allow that to happen! We are very lucky to have Iron Man Datti Baba as his dependable VP. The Obidients are the few good ones left, the last of the good ones. Pat yourselves on the back, we are the conscience of a Nigeria that may no longer exist. Now is the time to support Peter Obi more than ever!! He is the only politician still of good conscience. There are two kinds of politicians in Nigeria, Peter Obi & the rest. This is the time for Nigerians to renew their support for the idea whose time has come. It's even more critical to exponentially raise our voices in support for Okwute as the only Opposition to the PDAPC. Without Peter Obi & the Obidient Movement? Opposition is dead! It is time to go harder for him. Say his name: OBI! OBI! OBI! 🔥💪

The official rate of the Naira to dollar hit over 1000. I said it then, but now I have been vindicated. They said price discovery and all.I said it. They have destroyed the economy. It's now clear at some point that some people claim the fair value of the Naira is 700, the budget benchmark of 750 to the dollar is already challenged.

Inside word has it that GSK's exit wasn't entirely down to operational reasons. Apparently, a well known cabinet minister who is also an investment banker tried a hostile stock takeover of GSK Nigeria, not unlike what his boss's Oando did to Agip, and GSK decided to exit Nigeria rather than deal with another greedy Nigerian power monger with the entire apparatus of state capture at his disposal. Instead of letting him take over their 50+ year-old Nigerian business, they decided to exit Nigeria and its wahala altogether, and start selling medication to the Nigerian market through a middleman (which means you will now pay significantly more for the same medication). You will now buy GSK medication at up to 20x its previous price because a billionaire Nigerian cabinet minister decided he didn't own enough assets and he wanted one more. Anyway, we were all warned about what a Tinubu presidency would mean. So anything we see, we will take it like that.
