The whistleblower is the only thing standing between the public and the silence. 73% of UK whistleblowers are victimised or forced to resign for speaking up. The person who knocked on the Williams family door knew that risk. They did it anyway. That deserves far more than a formal investigation with carefully worded PR statements. From my interactions with the Police Constable who interviewed me, I have no doubt he was simply following orders from above, orders he did not agree with. I intend to find out who gave that order and hold them to account under the law. No-one is above the law, and that includes senior police officers and or politicians.
