Tonight, it was about a woman who puts “duck libraries” in her neighborhood. People can open them and take out a rubber duck. Awwww.

For 2nd night in a row ABC NY has a brite in the 6 pm telecast from @kemrichardson7. Last night, about a dog walker who lost $300 in cash at a bagel shop and social media folks raised cash $10 at a time to help her. Awwwww.

In winter, the tourists abandoned the hibernating harbor for the ski slopes at Mt. Sunapee State Park. At the windswept summit, they could crane their necks from the chairlift and see the harbor, but it held nothing for them in winter. #standardtime open.substack.com/pub/petekramer…

After 24 years, it took @Verizon exactly 3 weeks to forget about me entirely, to lock me out of their system. But “Victoria” was curious why I left Verizon.

“Victoria” said she could see the itemized charges and that I can log in as a “disconnected” customer. My credentials— phone, last name, zip — were not recognized.

55 minutes on a chat with “ Victoria”at @verizon to get an itemized final bill, which I still don’t have. They can mail it to me or I can go to a corporate Verizon store to print it out. It is 2025. Verizon is a $163B company.

I sent “bee” a half dozen screenshots showing how little regard their “team” had for me, how it took three reps to handle a simple billing question that was still not resolved. Five days later, still crickets….. this is why I put @verizon on my rear horizon.

Peter, your 24-years with Verizon matters to us. I'm genuinely sorry to hear you've had a miserable experience. This isn't ever what we want. We are committed to turning this around for you! Please share what's been going on? *Bee

On Monday, I posted about how miserable @Verizon is, how 24 years of my custom meant nothing to them, how they were shaking me down for another $1007.39. Within minutes, “bee” sent me this….

@Verizon customer service is THE WORST. Dropping their miserable service — after 24 years of ever higher bills — has been like trying to put down a tar-covered honey badger. Bludgeoned with inefficiency, cudgeled with ineptitude, transferred into oblivion.
