@TheTennisLetter When you seek the spotlight you have to be able to deal with the negative and positive

Eva Lys calls out the negative headlines in German sports journalism.
She posted a message as well as a screenshot of some of the headlines.
Headline #1 translates to: “Eva Lys can't get out of her rut - Struff can.
Headline #2: “Eva Lys is sinking deeper into crisis”
Here’s what Eva had to say: “I am increasingly wondering where German sports journalism is developing. Basically, I welcome any form of reporting. Especially in women's sports, which hasn't gotten the attention it deserves in a long time. However, even more important would be a differentiated and respectful tone.
What I always notice is the consistently negative grounding of many headlines and comments.
Criticism is, of course, part of sports. But the way it is often formulated seems much more devaluing than constructive.
I find it questionable when female athletes are judged with a self-evident that has little to do with the reality on the field. Performance sports are complex and can't always be squeezed into simple evaluations. From many conversations with other German athletes, I know I am not alone in this perception.
Obviously, I'm not in my best form right now, after having to lay off for 2.5 months. Nevertheless, it should be possible to talk about it factually and fairly.
It's important for me to say that I don't mean all journalists.
Especially in one's own country, support and order should be at the forefront, not lump negativity.”
She was sidelined by a right knee injury for 2 and a half months.
To get back on the court, she had to do rehab work for 6-8 hours a day for weeks.
Eva was also diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called spondyloarthritis in 2020.

Charles Schwab is not fucking around.
Getting into the crypto markets.
Getting into the predictions markets.
Has a world class trading platform in TOS.
They just need to drop the hammer now and introduce a 2%-3% transfer of assets bonus and now things will really heat up between them and the competition.

Toni Nadal in an interview with @mundodeportivo was worried about the state of the current game and think it's now just about hitting the ball hard;
"I don't like modern Tennis because I prefer strategy in ball sports... we're now in a sport where the most important thing is hitting the ball hard and everyone serves at 200 kph +, in the Big 3 era there was much more variety."

Luka will not play game 1 for the Lakers an will most likely not play game 2 either.
Although it is very possible Luka will return in game 3.
If the Lakers are down 0-2 going into game 3 can they come back and with Luka?
Luka may not be 100% if he plays in game 3 but having a 75% Luka is better than no Luka.
Should Luka come back in game 3??

130+ MPH serves on clay courts back in the day used to be very difficult to achieve.
Clay is the slowest surface in Tennis that tends to reduce the speed of the ball making high speed serves difficult to achieve.
Tennis is going to become very predictable with no variety.
Gill Gross 🌆@Gill_Gross
Shelton averaging 130 MPH or above on 1st serve in every match this week in Munich so far. He could always do that if he wants, but he and Bryan have never believed in spamming the fastball too often. 126 was his avg last year. Tracking a possible change in philosophy there.
