We owe $8,000 to the IRS because we withdrew money to take care of my wife's mother to move her near us so we can take care of her. Do you know how hard it is to see these stories showing the fraud and corruption taking place with our tax money when writing the check?

@NathanChester24 The president believes greed and adultery are acceptable. Greed and adultery describe him best. "Christians" are his base. Your words are empty.

The reason homosexuality gets focused on so much is that people generally don’t say murder is okay. They don’t claim that greed is fine. They don’t say adultery is acceptable. But with homosexuality, not only do people say it’s good, they claim it’s WHO they are.

we all sin everyday. why do people default to being gay as the ultimate sin? i just don’t understand why is that always the arguing point lol

@blondehunx Christians won't be offended because most of them will be eating meat as well. The Muslims I know, which are few, follow their religion.

@MrColionNoir M4 barrel length is 14.5". The standard (if that exists) AR has a 16" barrel. A longer barrel will increase velocity but the gains from 1.5" are probably negligible.

A Vietnam vet said I don’t know what I’m talking about… because I said the AR-15 is NOT more powerful than the M4. Let that sink in. I responded to a veteran who made the claim that the AR-15 is more powerful than the standard military issue M4. Then another vet came behind him and basically said I’m the one who doesn’t know guns. Here’s the problem: Respect for your service and being factually right are not automatically the same thing. The modern civilian AR-15 is semi-auto only. The M4 can do more. Same basic platform. Same round. So how exactly is the civilian rifle somehow “more powerful”? It isn’t. And this is exactly how bad gun arguments spread — people hear confidence, emotion, and credentials… and assume that means the facts are solid. So I want to hear from y’all: Should veteran status protect somebody from criticism when they’re wrong about guns? Comment: YES if you think service changes the conversation NO if facts are facts no matter who says it And be honest — Would you have called this out too, or stayed quiet because he’s a Vietnam vet? youtu.be/71xRpD2tijE

@ssgtwrightusmc It depends. Someone randomly being a dick over a typo is weird. One of my favorite things on twitter is clowning someone that thinks they are the smartest person here but don't know the difference between your and you're. If you're going to flex your superiority, proofread.

The one thing that I have learned here on X that there are a lot of grammar police on X. They try and make you feel like an idiot for misspelled words. Don't these people understand that some people use their cellphones to type? Don't they not understand that spell check doesn't always work like it's supposed to do? It blows my mind that these people don't have anything better to do.

@ronrule @tom_ealey Because they have to. Most people would use that money up and still be in debt if they had to save it themselves. Why don't people save 12% on their own now?

If the average person getting $4k/mo from social security could have put that 12.4% of every paycheck into the S&P instead, they would currently be getting $32k/mo instead of $4k. And their kids would continue to get that $32k/mo after they died. Social Security is a scam.

@secondorderfx In reality, the S&P return would be even higher than the historic average if 100 million people were throwing 12% of their paycheck in every month and not touching it for 50 years.

@GeeScottSr They want Dems to accept responsibility for the KKK, even though it was right-wing beliefs that brought about the KKK, but not white people in general for slavery.

"I’ll be honest, I’m shocked this "Democrats founded the KKK" line really is being said in 2026. Like grown adults really say this with the intent of, "Ahh, I gotcha!" I mean, continue telling the rest then. That’s like blaming me for something happening in a house I moved out of 20 years ago. Yeah, history matters, but so does what happened after. To stop with the rest is dishonest, and makes me wonder if you do it on purpose, or you really don't know. When Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 passed, after that, no Democratic presidential candidate has won a majority of white voters nationwide since. The Truth Never expires, no matter how much sauce you put on the rice.

But why is it on your house? Why not tax your washing machine. Or your carpet? Or the black velvet paintings handing on your walls? It's completely arbitrary, and seems unfair, particularly because we are ALREADY HEAVILY TAXED for those damn public services.
Rushi@rushicrypto

I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is a sales tax on you home rather than taxes to pay for public services you use every day. “I paid off my home why do i still pay property taxes?!?!?” Oh, did you also stop using the roads and libraries and sidewalks and parks? Not worried about fires anymore?

Bat shit logic, this is where morons should lose their right to vote. If you can’t pledge allegiance to the constitution GTFO. More treasonous than people simply calling for reform of bs like the massive private prison system we have wannabe potus Stephen Moller profiting from. 👎 americasvoice.org/blog/private-p…

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but we are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian. Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.
