Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that it’s ridiculous to ask whether Trump would consider raising taxes to pay for the war. That confirms Trump’s intent to pay for the war with more debt and higher inflation. The biggest threat to the U.S. comes from Washington, not Iran.

Raise your hand if you’re exhausted from trading Truth Social headlines instead of the tape. Watching the market whipsaw on a single post... often contradicting the last one within hours... isn’t just stressful, it’s structurally unhealthy. @Silver__Santa Iran has nothing to lose. I doubt that they will stop, unless they are paid reparations and obtain guarantees of non aggression, perhaps even a NATO like alliance with Russia and China.

I'm contrarian again. But this war will end soon me thinks. It's unpayable, it could create a depression, the West can't produce enough weapons, Iran is going all in, the strait can't be taken over, the US is getting isolated, the middle east and Europe is turning its back. Trump just needs to say he won, and that's it. He has nothing to gain, but everything to lose, if he continues the war.

I don’t think they’ll let anything land. Iran has accurate real time information provided by China. I just want this stupid war to end.

It does scare me that troops on the ground thing. This said, remember we have air supremacy and amazing intelligence to track the enemy. Everyday, the Chinese and Russians are showing remarkable restraint. With the Ukraine precedent set, nothing stops them from arming Iran to the teeth.

But, Miners are getting pounded down by 30-40%. Just my observation — the markets are remarkably inconsistent in the short term. Watching and learning.

Iran may go down but it is clearly signaling that it will take the Arab oil down with and they have that capacity. Read that they have Chinese missiles.

@HabibKhanT lol, no chance of that happening. Pakistani army has always been paid to play foot soldiers for the West. This is probably because Pakistan is not willing to participate in Iran.

Looks like the US may move to denuclearize Pakistan, as it is increasingly seen as a fragile state and a growing threat to global security.
