the President of the United States attempted a coup last time he was in office and then he cruised back to nomination without a sweat and immediately pardoned all his conspirators "the Republican party wants to destroy the Republic" is only barely an exaggeration
Dilan Esper@dilanesper

I know this is squishy and both-sidesy, and I am not going to convince any partisans with this, but there's a way to talk passionately about politics without portraying the other side as utter demons who aim to destroy the Republic, and I try to model it in my own commentary.

@toweypat @annierlevin @lionel_trolling i mean, it’s quite possible that’s what his intention was to convey, given the context of the tweet in direct reply to his post about the article… it’s not like he posted it as a standalone opinion, it just comes across that way in a quote tweet

Paramedic info: I see patient after patient, and have friends/other medics, who ALL realize the shots caused their cancer. When I see pro vaccine advocates say “there’s no link.” While REAL PEOPLE are linking their onset of illness to the novel vaccine. It is upsetting. To say the least. These “doctors” would rather discount thousands upon thousands of testimonies and injures, even death, while waiting for well known corrupt institutions to admit their faults. At this point Neil and any like him are quickly becoming accomplices in a mass mu*der event. The damage is too extensive to pretend these shots are safe, any longer. God bless
Neil Stone@DrNeilStone

Yes colorectal cancer is on the rise Anti vaxxers are already trying to pin it on Covid vaccines There is no link to vaccines at all Rates have been rising since well before the Covid vaccine even existed! It's a real problem. Let's focus on solutions, not conspiracy theory

Details are interesting and I guess not wrong, but Republicans aren't against a ban because of the particulars, they simply think they're entitled to power regardless of the popular will. This is also why they stole a Supreme Court seat and tried to steal a presidential election
Nate Cohn@Nate_Cohn

I'm going to break my self-imposed social media ban to note something that I might write if I wasn't leaving on a trip tonight: If you want to solve gerrymandering, it is a solvable problem.

@posted989 @jbarro @EggerDC Setting aside the particulars of the Dem bill, redistricting reform benefitted Dems. That’s my point: if they pass it when it benefits Rs I will remove my cynicism.

Cite your research. Because if you genuinely think “common sense” says that between 1 in 3 and 1 in 4 people in the country are undocumented, it’s no wonder you were accused of racial profiling. Your own agency thinks your numbers are completely made up, by the way.
Gregory K Bovino@GregoryKBovino

@ReichlinMelnick Aaron, the 100 million is a solid figure. No conspiracy theories, just research melded with 30 years as an immigration officer mixed in with this thing called common sense

This is why it's not a gotcha to ask Trump appointees if they think he won in 2020! The only thing Trump actually believes is that he cannot lose he can only be cheated. And that's insanely poisonous to the American political system!
Andrew Egger@EggerDC

Literally nobody has alleged election malfeasance in the Virginia referendum. There have been no reports of fraud, just lots of Republicans taking issue with the gerrymandering, the ballot language, etc. Trump, however, insists every outcome he dislikes is due to fraud.

@propublica Super important to get vaccinated because all the illegals are bringing their diseases with them as they and their diseases are welcomed by Democrats

Vaccines were once so uncontroversial that McDonald’s restaurants put the childhood immunization schedule on their tray liners. Now, as the U.S. government sows doubt, preventable diseases could come roaring back. propublica.org/article/rfk-jr…
