@RFBWCF Honest question - if PCA is a true church, which I'm sure you'd say it is, then how is Vanguard Presbytery not a sinful church for schisming from it? Calvin said nobody who schisms from a true church can be saved

@Curi_Christian Read the Bible and maybe you can see how and why they argue against free will. Also read Erasmus’ Diatribe and Luther’s “Bondage of the Will.” You will come away from that atleast understanding both points. You’ll probably even realize how the free will idea falls on its face.

I baffles me as to how and why people argue against free will.

@5Solas2 Arminians, ask yourselves these questions. If Judas was ever saved, what was he saved from? Eternal damnation? How could he be saved from it at all if he succumbed to it eventually?

Judas didn't lose his salvation, he was never saved.

I don't love it. I'm actually considerably less tolerant of loud kids in public now than I was before I had my own. Your children should not be allowed to disrupt a church service, or any other public gathering. If they're being unruly, remove them. If they're old enough to know better, take them out and discipline them. If they're too young to control themselves, then again remove them. I've had to do this many times in many situations. It blows my mind when parents just sit there and let their kids totally disrupt and irritate an entire room full of strangers.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die —ever. Do you believe this?” (Jn. 11:25-26) Pretty audacious thing for a person to say if he wasn't actually God. It's a good thing then, that Jesus is.

@TerriGreenUSA These men need to submit themselves and their ideologies to the order that God created for us. Paul makes this abundantly clear. Women have important roles in the church, but they need to be in compliance with God’s design.

Josh Howerton, Josh McPherson, Ryan Visconti and Landon Schott say they’re so over the reformed guys are in essence saying they’re so over what the Bible says about women preachers because they believe the Holy Spirit spoke to Paula White about Trump. Visconti’s wife is a pastor at his church.
