@FlyerTom23 I talked with the stallion folks at Darley and they are eagerly awaiting his eventual arrival. Not that I would be financially able to breed any of my mares to him anyway. The result in this race does not flatter him.

@atTheTrack7 Irad wrote a masterful race. The two fresh horses went hard early. Rated perfectly and took advantage.
Definitely a race both Journalism and Sovereignty needed. I still think no one beats Sovereignty when he’s right at 10 furlongs.

I may be the only person not shocked Sovereignty ended up on the lead. That wasn’t the best decision for the outcome today and this race was one he’ll improve off.
But one thing is absolutely for certain after this race. Journalism will never finish ahead of Sovereignty. Ever.
