Reflecting on my 2 days at Cheatcode $Bitcoin conference in Bedford, Friday and Saturday football. Anyone thinking about attending a Bitcoin meet up or Bitcoin conference definitely should go. There is something very reassuring listening to speaker panels and fireside chats about Bitcoin and worldwide use cases and adoption even if we are lagging here in the UK 🇬🇧 😏 There was a lot of positivity and support in the room especially for @PeterMcCormack and all his efforts and great work in and around Bedford. I did feel the sentiment towards Bitcoin treasury companies was on the negative side though mainly from @JoeNakamoto and @_DannyKnowles maybe it was banter and being a large $MSTR $SWC and $BHODL holder, maybe I was being over sensitive picking up on this. I’m a huge Bitcoin believer but in the UK for me, it makes a lot of sense deploying funds into my ISA and pension which makes treasuries extremely appealing especially if you’re taking a longer time horizon, just wondering how @freddienew & @asjwebley read the room on the Friday ?

I am pleased to announce that I am the @reformparty_uk candidate for Northfield Ward in the local elections on May 7th I am 24 years old and work as a plumber, running a small business serving customers across Birmingham, my working life is grounded in the real economy. Working in people’s homes, I speak to ordinary residents every day and see first-hand the challenges families face with local services and the condition of our city. My interest in politics began in my early teens, when I started to reject the prevailing left-wing worldview that had been presented to me for much of my life. This election feels different because the political landscape itself is changing. We are witnessing the growth of sectarian politics and the "unholy" coalition on the left. I feel it is essential that residents are offered a credible alternative, one rooted in British values, civic responsibility, and respect for our nation. That’s why I’m standing for Reform UK. We are the only alternative. Reform is the only party willing to challenge the political consensus that has dominated British politics for too long.
