I’ve been in Congress through divided governments, bitter fights, and historic crises. I’ve never seen anything like the last 24 hours. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson killed Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s bipartisan deal to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.  It was a deal that had the support of Senate Republicans and Democrats alike, 100-0! Why? Because Johnson places his own political survival and fealty to Trump over all else, including long waits at airports or anything else. We could have passed it in the House easily if only Johnson had allowed the vote to proceed. But instead he blew up the whole thing. Where this goes next is anyone’s guess, but what’s very clear is that Johnson is the worst and most subservient speaker in modern American history.

And that Trump abused her at 15. The Jane Doe 4 files were missing. Discovered only through the Maxwell discovery when lawyers noticed Bates stamp numbers were gone. Those files surfaced after Trump bombed Iran. The lawyer tried to walk back the settlement testimony. The accountant refused to confirm or deny. Trump started a war the same week the Epstein names were supposed to drop. Never stop connecting the dots.

Oh, and @DHSgov, it now turns out that your agents didn't drop Mr. Shah Alam off at a warm and safe coffee shop as you claimed. Video shows that it was night and the coffee shop was closed, so he never entered it. Instead, mostly blind and in need of a cane, unable to speak English, he tried to walk home through the freezing night -- because your agents never called his family or lawyer but seem to have left him to die. Do you see how your credibility is undermined when you repeatedly make claims that are later contradicted by video evidence? Why should we trust statements from an agency with such a record of deceit?
