@MaritheKity Unleashed was also developed with brake drifting in mind, trigger drifting wasn't added until about a month before the final build
I wish I could easily record how I turn the stick, I'm pretty sure I do some 3/4 circle spin to drift like this

I never understood the Sonic Unleashed drift for years but it finally clicked for me that it is literally just "turn right to go left" in a sonic game, even down to Lightning McQueen reflecting Sonic fans acting like it's stupid for a drift to have a skill ceiling 😭

@PhotonGiga @MaritheKity Now if you REALLY want to ball, brake drifting is another drift method
Brake by tilting the stick backwards, then rapidly tilt it sideways and Sonic starts drifting
This is what the game was actually designed with, slide and trigger drifting were added in later development builds

@PhotonGiga @MaritheKity Not really, a while back some people found out about the alternate drift inputs in this game, specifically the slide
Sliding makes you steadily slow down, so it makes your arc a bit tighter since you have less speed when doing it like that, but it's not a unique slide property

@MaritheKity I have the stick forwards, then spin it it to the opposite side of where I want to go, then spin it downwards to start braking, then to the side where I want to go and it just works, trigger drifting feels weird to me now lol

Demon's Souls kinda gets too much hate for it's bosses ngl...
Would have been very happy if I found Flamelurker, Fake Allant and even Penetrator in Dark Souls 1. I miss that sort of humanoid duel that becomes chaotic.

Old King Allant - Second Try 🧐 I almost tremendously fumbled at the end, he did a move where he drains a whole soul level from you, that didn't hit me my first time around so I got so fucking scared ngl. Fight is definetly inefficient with a sword this big.

@gacharacc @magatsula Oh my god the "fort, night" messages confused Japanese players so much they thought it meant there'd be a boss that spawns at the many forts during the night since there are some bosses throughout the world that only spawn at that time it's beautiful

@magatsula this is particularly why elden ring was so fun to me, seeing a message on top of rocks and doing the worst parkour ever for 20 minutes for it to just say "fort night "
