In over 20 yrs I’ve never seen this endangered Giant Barred Frog habitat completely dry..... so this is climate change at its worst and it’s what the landscape looked like before the fires, lucky this sub tropical rainforest has not burnt yet

The 2023 VPMS is being organised for October in Dubbo. If you are interested in attending and or giving a talk, please register ASAP. This is a symposium aimed at practitioners and knowledge sharing and dissemination on pest management.

@RolandKays @mike_cove @sousliks @McCleeryLab @treeshrew13 @shrewangel We have a Texh Note in press in Australia on a simple modification that can improve image quality and as such ID of small mammals a bit easier. Out soon I hope.

I do think we can do better with cameratraps and small mammals if we change the setup of the camera to target them and change the lens so they are in focus. Hope to see more of this work in the future. @mike_cove @sousliks @McCleeryLab @Redfoxmeek @treeshrew13 @shrewangel

@DingoResearch @Redfoxmeek I stand educated. I love foxes. I think they're beautiful animals. But they don't belong here. They don't even belong on most of their ranges in the UK. Urban foxes in the UK are a menace.
