@PeralexIRL @Sinfever121 You can't misrepresent wow pvp back in the day then. We use to just not need 800 addons to play the game for us. It'll be a nice return if they do actually break all those you listed barrier to entry will be lower too and not chase off new players.

@Relynia @Sinfever121 Welcome to 2026 old man, when they used in game stop watches and other tricks to do the same thing addons do now. Where there’s a will there’s a way, it’s just easier now.

To clarify for all PvP players this coming Tuesday you are losing: - Omnibar / no longer track enemy CD's in any capacity. - Omnicc / no longer track party cooldowns (insanely bad for healers) - Details / THIS is worse than PvE players have it, as you can no longer see enemy healer or damage. - Bigdebuffs / No Crowd Control awareness to easily dispell / watch over your healer if you are DPS. - No DR tracking Icons you are used to over the last 20 years, in fact they are now basic icons that make little sense. - BattleGroundEnemies / No longer track enemy team in Blitz or battlegrounds - WeakAuras / literally track anything (combat) - TellMeWhen / literally track anything (combat) - GladiatorloSA / audio queues & accessibility This list doesn't include TONS of countless other addons that will no longer work properly, but stuck to more super mainstream options. This kills a lot of the depth of PvP, especially for the most popular bracket (Solo Shuffle). Will be interesting to see where this leads the next few weeks. @WarcraftDevs @Warcraft @BlizzardCS @Zorbrix please consider PvP instance API changes. <3

@Sinfever121 This take implies that PvP was never good because addons were released when the game released in 2004. Which would nullify your own statement.

@DoctorAbrichter I mean, you skipped the first room. Pulled like 6 mobs around the wall in the boss room and everything died before it was a threat before the rework too.
