Last day of this the 2024 @ScotlandRHShow ready to go. What a difference 12 hours makes to the Showground! Once again, so proud of the amazing @The_RHASS team and what they achieve for the Farming and Rural sectors.

A bit of fresh air after a long desk day. Making the time every day to get active is easy when the sun shines, harder when it’s shabby weather - but maybe even more important.

@No1FarmerJake @drichardson347 What great initiative she left behind. Mary and I only talking about the planets that we have grown from the seeds we all had at her memorial which included lettuce! One in a million

@wheat_daddy No ! It’s because there’s no longer coal fired power stations! No sulphur in the atmosphere none in the rain any more!

We have not suffered sulphur deficiency before now despite the soil type. I think that’s down to continuous use of sewage sludge and the wet winter has had a big impact. See video below. ⬇️

Will including Sulphur impact my crop? We think this trial using OMEX products says everything 👇🌱 The @AgriiUK trial on the iFarm @wheat_daddy site clearly demonstrates the impact of Sulphur inclusion on the crop 🧵(1/3)

Well wasn’t that exciting?… Great comeback and strong finish from @SaintsRugby, but gave themselves too much of a mountain to climb … for the second week running. 🤬Plenty to take back to @premrugby #COYS

The great thing about them is that they don’t care how your day has gone - just that you’ve come back.

@Pxfarms I know what you mean whenever I clear the overflow on the pond that goes onto the road I get the same feeling

I keep watching the video, getting the water flowing along the A52 is hugely satisfying.

@No1FarmerJake Jake, we produce quality raw materials, with controls on what we use quite rightly with good environmental management. The processors take them, add all sorts of additives and turn them into what is creating this health problem.

As a family we have launched this flagship Volvo FH16 750 in memory of my late father Kaye Mansel Davies who passed away 12 months ago, you were a true legend who will never be forgotten.

Harvesting beans going well. Hope to get these done tonight then the big one left for next week: the only full field of Capulet bean which will hopefully make the grade for baked beans which we all love on toast. @AgriiUK @Bronmills

@JoeWStanley Joe, agree can’t blame the producer if that is what is demanded. Funny mind you the number of people who spout of about buying British and supporting local businesses have short memories when they visit a supermarket

We get the food system we pay for. Without making any moral judgement on current production practices, the reason intensive poultry production takes the form it does is because of relentless pressure to be ever-cheaper, from retailers & consumers. 1/3 bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…
