The situation that led to Christian Wilkins' release is a "tough one to overcome" and the reason he is still unsigned, per Jordan Raanan.

@ChurchillAtoZ If he does or doesn’t get traded, it will be the right decision with his DL coach being the voice on defense now.
I’d opt for not trading him because the value doesn’t match with what he could potentially bring in a new look defense.

@MeganAvc_ I would bet he does start or rotate, a lot of arm chair GMs in the comments acting like our literal D-Line coach isn’t the one who is now calling the shots and putting in the 3-4 defense with full knowledge of who can run it….with no NT signings yet either.

Raiders might actually need a safety more than a NT. I feel like at NT having a guy be 15lbs under isn’t the end of the world, and besides we have two guys on the roster who already meet the weight requirements (Pegues and BMR). Pola-Mao CANNOT be the single high safety!

@ReleaseBumLder @og_yungdilly We’ll end up having Elder, Fuentes, Ritchie pitching in that #5 spot this year while we get Schwelly and Waldrep back by mid June/July most likely.
