I’m a teacher. I am strongly opposed false narratives in education and will tell you if I feel you are trying to divert attention from the truth.

@dribrahimab @TheDA_UK Because you say so? Nope, legally this has nothing to do with anyone other than the person whose data was released and the data holder. This is never a union issue.

We are aware of reports that some SAS and locally employed doctors have been subject to a personal data breach by the GMC. If you received an email on 7th April in which other recipients’ email addresses were visible, we would like to hear from you. We are investigating and will update shortly.

@gryindub @Heccles94 You can ‘guarantee’ that? Oh you are daft. You are currently coming across as someone who can’t cope with being held to account for doing a shit job. Whatever that job is, please resign!

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 You’d soon learn that the problem isn’t the employees but the employers. I can guarantee that 90% of the reasons you feel jaded by the NHS can be blamed on the NHS management and not the doctors or or HCPs. And, for the 100th time, unions aren’t fucked over by privatisation :)

@gryindub @Heccles94 I work in private schools. Trust me, it’s very hard for the unions to be effective in them. Sure there have been examples, but not many.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 Also, privatisation doesn’t neuter unions. That’s a stupid person’s understanding - ask literally any other industry.

@gryindub @Heccles94 Oh it does because they will have to separately negotiate with each group. Union recognition will have to be reformed for each hospital or group of hospitals and will not necessarily deliver what those unions want.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 Lol, “WE WILL SPEND FOUR TIMES AS MUCH TO EMPLOY LESS QUALIFIED PEOPLE IF YOU LEAVE” - you. The standards you want is down to government legislation and investment. The infrastructures? The delays? The waiting list? The resources? All govt legislation and investment:)

@gryindub @Heccles94 Actually, the unionised ones did that. They forced massive reduction to what could be expected of were junior doctors through and basically destroyed experience, resilience and clinical acumen.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 Did your senior consultant partner also tell you that they are the reason for it? The senior consultants, weaklings as we call them, watched as the NHS destroyed standards to what they are today.

@gryindub @Heccles94 Ah, so you are anti management. Sounds like someone has had some competency issues.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 The reason the efficiency and standards are the way they are is a direct result of legislation. Stupid people like you blame doctors - but doctors don’t run the NHS. All the inefficiencies started after the management structures were replaced with business managers.

@TheDA_UK You are only collecting this information in an attempt to reduce the credibility of an organisation designed to promote high standards in health care. Unions, of course, wanted lower standards for more pay.

@TheDA_UK Actually no. Those affected should simply contact the GMC, who will conduct an assessment and self report. There are defined processes around this that do NOT involve unions. It is none of your business.

@gryindub @Heccles94 Yes they could. Then we could privatise and get better standards.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 I mean, they could always move to countries that would actually pay them. These spoiled, entitled brats work hard to get the highest A-Level grades, spend hours, years and decades of their lives dedicated to learning and helping people. How dare they want better pay???

@gryindub @Heccles94 Yes good. Then we can privatise and actually expect efficiency and standards, because unions will effectively be neutered in hospitals.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 Lol, the big difference and everyone else is what they do - the sacrifices and time and the cost to them. Their counterparts in countries like Ireland, US, CAN, Ger, SWZ, NZ, Aus etc get paid way freaking more for far less time in training. I would urge them all to move!

@gryindub @Heccles94 I am married to a senior consultant who is quite clear on the difference between his generation of doctors and those from now. The expectations on residents are vastly reduced.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 Contrary to popular belief - you are not entitled to doctors. If they feel the compensation isn’t worth their time they can demand for more. Doctors were getting paid more in 1975, 50% more, by the NHS, are they more altruistic or less entitled? Go be boring somewhere else

@gryindub @Heccles94 Fully aware that it’s a move towards privatisation, which I fully approve of. Because on a privatised system, it is much easier to for better standards from employees and far easier to get rid of dead weights. It also completely fucks over unions.

@RobShellfish @Heccles94 The govt is fooling you people and you’re falling for it. Every decision made about the NHS has been to intentionally weaken it towards privatisation - and the public is acting exactly how british public does. The most pacified population, such a shame

@Heccles94 A deliberately misleading statement. Because benefits are not only for the ill and disabled. People are clearly against benefits for people who don’t need them.

@gryindub @Heccles94 When FY1,2 and CT1-ST3 started they knew of a certain pay level. All of those five years’ worth have experienced a huge real-terms increase. Yet most of them seem to be striking. Entitled much?

@gryindub @Heccles94 They are not the only people who work hard for high grades but have found that the current financial climate is biting. The big difference between them and everyone else, though, is the massive increase in pay since almost all of them started.
