Ostrich Announcement:
The Ostrich meme project is being shut down.
The Ostrich team tried our best with this one.
We put in countless hours of work over several months.
We paid for a marketing manager, a large team of good kols, raiders, publications, volume bots, mods, did buy backs, etc.
We launched a really good marketing campaign with 23 kols. All of them
made amazing posts, had a lot of reach….but unfortunately there was very little traction on the chart. The market had little to no interest in the project.
The market is simply too dead to keep trying and there is not enough interest in OSTRICH by market users as evidenced by the lack of buyers even after a successful marketing campaign that reached hundreds of thousands of crypto users.
We also analyzed all transactions and saw that nearly every new holder that bought during the recent marketing campaign already sold and was no longer holding the token.
The biggest problem we faced is that the Ostrich Farm themselves have not supported the ostrich project even a little bit, even after 4 months of supporting their cause day in and day out…and instead, they aligned themselves with a newly launched pump and dump project called LULU.
This was disheartening.
There is simply nothing else we can do. We tried everything.
We as a team had not sold a single token until now. Not on the run from $5,000 to $1.2 million market cap, and not after.
Given the reality of things, we are now cutting our losses and will not be wasting any more time or money on this project.
The team has now sold their supply to recoup the dwindling liquidity and is distributing the funds to those who need to be paid back for their work and/or investments.
A google form will be provided for holders to be reimbursed as much as the recovered funds can afford to do so. Holders will be able to submit their wallet addresses within a 48-hour window to prove they bought Ostrich token, and were still holding without taking profits, and will be reimbursed as much as possible. It cannot be guaranteed that the reimbursement will be 100% of the holders’ capital as the total liquidity available is quite low... though we will do our best to satisfy everyone.
The team is not keeping these funds for ourselves. We are npt getting back anything close to the amount of capital we have put into the ostrich project. We are paying people back and shutting down the project for good. This will be verifiable on-chain.
We tried our best and went above and beyond for the project, for the holders, and for the cause for 4 months straight.
It just didn’t gain traction and didn’t work out. Nothing more to do.
We sincerely apologize that we couldn't make Ostrich a success.
