Perfectly coherent! SLAC researchers are developing an X-ray laser oscillator designed to emit perfectly coherent X-ray pulses - and it's almost ready! A prototype will be built and tested at SLAC’s LCLS and Japan's SACLA X-ray laser facilities: stanford.io/3OO7isM

@Collosal_60 For lithography itself perhaps not, since the XLO radiation is very coherent. But it will be very useful for validation post lithography process.
