You don’t understand. You don’t know the result before it happens. You can’t be like “see I survived” as an argument. It’s like hitting tail once and thinking you’re gonna hit it again next time. You don’t know the outcome, your individual vote doesn’t change the outcome, there’s no point pressing blue. I can’t dumb it more down.

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

I’m not gonna force you to push any particular button. Why would you want to force people’s choice? The point is: you can’t impact the distribution, so from your standpoint, the results are static, already precomputed. You pick from there. Picking blue won’t save anyone if they lose: it will just kill you. And there is no way for you to change the result. It’s not more complicated than that. Let people choose and deal with the consequences.

There was an interesting comment from Sonny Styles on the @BleacherReport behind the scenes video from the draft room. When Styles heard his Ohio State teammate Carnell Tate was getting picked by the Titans, Styles said "he wasn't even thinking about the Titans bro." These guys talk a ton to each other during the draft, especially teammates. Interesting nugget.
