My LEAP buying checklist:
1. Stock selection first
If you wouldn't own shares for years, don't buy LEAPs on it. No exceptions.
2. Multi-timeframe RSI alignment
Daily RSI oversold. Weekly RSI stabilizing or curling up. The more timeframes confirming, the stronger the setup.
3. Price at meaningful support
Long-term support zones, prior consolidation ranges, or key moving averages like the 50 or 200 SMA. Enter where buyers have historically stepped in.
4. Low IV environment
Low IV means cheaper premiums for the same leveraged exposure. Your breakeven is lower. Your potential return is higher. If IV is elevated, sell puts instead.
5. Strong liquidity
Tight bid-ask spreads, healthy open interest, strong volume. Wide spreads on expensive LEAP contracts will eat your edge.
6. 360+ DTE minimum
Time gives your thesis room to play out. Longer duration also qualifies for long-term capital gains if held over one year.
7. Strike selection matters
ITM for safety. ATM for balance. 10% OTM for max leverage. Don't confuse a cheap premium with a good deal.
8. Have an exit plan
Know when you'll scale out, when you'll roll, and when you'll cut. Theta accelerates hard inside 60 DTE. Have a plan before you get there.
I only buy a handful of LEAPs per year. When all 8 of these align on a name I have deep conviction in, that's when I act.

@hellostake
How can you give confidence to your customers in using your platform when they make a transfer to the Stake account, keep waiting for days, and the funding still doesn't show up?
