“Healthy Aging Starts Here” focuses on how @UTMBHealth researchers and medical experts are dedicated to promoting healthier aging. The session covers efforts to prevent and better manage conditions such as diabetes and heart disease, which significantly improve mobility, memory, and overall vitality. “Aging healthier over time doesn't have to start in your 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s. It can start in 70s or even 80s. Especially for women … women have a harder time building muscle mass so they really have to focus on strength training for healthier aging.
