Alan Wake 2 with the upgraded PSSR has smooth, clean imagery. Aggressive upscales are very doable with Sony’s new tech.

Games tested on PSSR2. Avatar FF rebirth Avowed High on life 2 Doom the dark ages Silent hill 2 Silent hill F All looked incredible sharp and detailed. Will try more today. What an upgrade.

From what I could try this is what I noticed about PSSR2; games where PSSR was broken now look great. Games where PSSR did a great job now look INSANE.

Had the day to play around with PSSR 2.0 on the PS5 Pro. All my complaints are fully addressed. No shimmer anymore, looks sharp, fine small details pop. Great work @cerny
