In all this waffle, Mr. @ShashiTharoor ignores the basic fact that we haven’t been silent. We have explicitly taken a side, when our Prime Minister publicly stated that he stood with his ‘good friend’ Netanyahu; a man who represents the most grotesque regime in modernity and is wanted by the ICJ for crimes against humanity.
Our performative antics have lost us the trust of a valuable and long standing ally, and forfeited national interest in exchange for some surveillance equipment, likely to be used against our own citizens.
Advocating a departure from morality is not and never can be the starting position for any policy, foreign or domestic. It is certainly unacceptable to make immorality the corner stone of policy, particularly when it doesn’t serve the interests of the Indian people.
A terribly disappointing but increasingly predictable position from Mr. Tharoor. He should be grateful he belongs to a political tradition that permits intellectual divergence, of this magnitude and despite his direct challenge to the vision articulated by the @INCIndia leadership, through Mrs. Sonia Gandhi’s article some days ago.

Has Iran reached a technology capable of overcoming the F-35's low radar signature?
Iran recently introduced the New Generation Air Defense Missile System Bavar 373-II, with Enhanced Range and Autonomy. The engagement range of the Bavar 373-II has been increased from 200 km to 350 km.
It is also known that among the military-technical support provided by Beijing to Tehran is the YLC-8B 3D anti-stealth radar.
Proving that the F-35 can be hit would deal a serious blow to the U.S. narrative of air superiority.
If the ability to strike undetected—the biggest ace up the sleeve of the U.S. and Israel in the region—is called into question, operational strategies in the region would change entirely.

You cannot b serious. The presence of nuclear material there could “force” SpecOps troops to take down a *mountain* complex? Why in God’s name would we *ever* send our troops into a near impossible mission — where we could lose them all and might still fail — that is NOT needed for our national security?
If the President authorizes this, he is not qualified to b the Commander in Chief and should be removed from office. Benjamin Netanyahu said today a “ground component” would b needed to win the war.
If Trump gives him our troops, then he will have handed control of the U.S. Armed Forces to fight and die for the leader of a foreign country, and thus should b impeached.
