Since 2003, teams that blow a 20-point lead or more in a game have gone 7-11 in-series. Bad, but not as bad as I expected.

Sixers win increases the chances of a post-Derby game on Saturday, but still need one of the Celtics, Knicks, or Timberwolves to lose on Thursday.

Based on offensive success rate, that was the Eagles' worst regular-season performance of the Sirianni/Hurts era. A 6th percentile offensive performance. The only game that was worse was the playoff loss to the Bucs after the 2023 season.

Despite being under the luxury tax apron, the Sixers do not open up a mid-level exception for the remainder of the season because they used the room MLE on Kelly Oubre Jr this summer. It also doesn't impact Yabusele, since KJ had a non-guaranteed deal. It does mean that they can sign buyout guys that make above the league average salary.

The Sixers are sending KJ Martin and two second round picks to the Detroit Pistons, per source.

Boston leads season series 2-1 vs. Bucks, they play Thursday. Celtics lead by a half game for conference record tiebreaker if the Bucks win that game 32-18 to 31-18. If Bucks go 2-1 (33 conf wins) and Celtics go 2-1 but lose the Bucks game (33 conf win)...

Oh no. There’s a tiebreaker scenario for 2-3-4 in the East that goes to record vs. conference playoff opponents between Milwaukee and Boston and I don’t know if that means top 6 or the final top 8 after the play-in.
