My remix channel only exists for roughly over a year and I already remixed 3 of his tracks. How is this legend not being able to get a gig? You'd think he'd be able to just smash his resume on the table and people would hire him in an instant.

I can't decide which I want more 🤔 On the one hand, I dream that the new XCOM (sometime in the future?) would be dark, serious, and as realistic as possible - not colorful and comic style like the last two. On the other hand, I'd like it to be developed by a small studio as an indie game, retaining the atmosphere and visual style of the first two.

Progress! I decided to go with a mix between the OG UT99 and the UT3 version. The mixing is a bit yikes but I really like the direction this is going in.

Using a lot of original samples in this one for a change (incorperated them into my synthesizer and adjusted the samples in a editor) - SO FAR. The bass line however, is completely recreated and sounds identically to the OG.

The other remixes I've listened to so far didn't quite hit the spot. Let's see how my spin on it will go. Early WIP:

@Gutterspawn @UnityCodeMonkey Yep, VR is awesome. I wonder how much a VR headset would actually cost (for the consumer) if they'd just make one without any extra BS that's just have enough processing power for streaming. I think a price point of roughly 100$ would make VR interesting for the public.

@UnityCodeMonkey Yep. Such a shame too. VR is amazing, but until it is widely affordable, it will forever be considered a hardcore hobbyists indulgence, and the amount of titles we will get that'd actually convince people to invest will remain understandably low

Sadly it seems interest in VR is still low, it's an awesome magical industry but I guess still quite niche. I will still do a Getting Started tutorial though

@oldyzach It's insane how good this game looks compared to it's modern competitors, which is also the reason why I never cared for to try them out.
