@AI_EmeraldApple I hate that they didn't let us make our own character. Even with all the games issues if I had gotten to make myself in the game to see myself in the Star Wars Universe for those screenshots. I would have bought it anyway

The hate against Star Wars Outlaws was completely justified. Just the ugly and incredibly off-putting main character design and facial animations aside, the game was released in a completely broken state, with many elements of the game that are completely unplayable. The story was poor for a "narrative game", and the patches were slow to release. Even to this day, after many patches, the game is merely in the "fine but not great" category.

This doesn’t fix the fact you barely shoot a gun until the sword regenerates unfortunately. They need to add more action, half the match you just collect blue crystals & open chests. Then you shoot finally, match ends. And then you don’t shoot again while grabbing more crystals, no thanks

Highguard has added a 5v5 raid mode to the game, playable today.

@Dexerto Should have done a beta, then they could have addressed the map size or party size issues, changed resources to single or 3 strike only to not slow the pace. Then 3-6 months later, release to a waiting audience

@SWT_Channel @Magzimus Dragon Age Origins through Inquisition proved having gay characters has never been the problem, forcing your character to be gay or straight is the problem, player agency is required. In cyberpunk, there is distinctly straight and gay romances, mass effect too

My main argument in this post is to drive that detail hime. Gay characters don’t make or break a great experience. Game amd writing quality do. Timeless games don’t survive the test of time based on nostalgia alone. ME was amd still is a bulletproof trilogy that happens to have legit gay cast.

@SWT_Channel We don't associate tho older games and their themes with the current ongoing culture war. people assume new games with those themes are made that way because its pushing the message. If those games were made today, people would make that assumption.

@SWT_Channel Im sorry, but I dont agree here, with the fatigue people are feeling, this would instantly create backlash because of those themes. Look at KDC2, a phenomenal game, but due to a gay scene and a poc in the game, then people reacted instantly. People are hyper aware now

@SuperStableNews I don't necessarily see them as weird as just androgynous or just not glamorous. Unless the story revolves around their physicality I don't see an issue. It's such a petty hill to die on.
