I've heard from some UK solar PV installers that they are receiving literally ten times more enquiries per day than usual.
That's great news for the climate 😃
I hope @beisgovuk are keeping track of all these new installations so @NationalGridESO can forecast national PV gen!

Clear skies and cool temperatures have helped UK #solar to break the all-time peak generation record. Around 12:30 on Monday 20 April 2020, a peak of 9.68GW was recorded by the @ShefSolarF tracker, beating the previous record of 9.55GW set on 14 May 2019.

Last week not only provided a new daily peak generation record on Monday, with 9.68GW at 12:30, but also a weekly one too!
#Solar met over 11% of UK electricity demand between Monday and Sunday, with a record total of 485.41GWh, ensuring a new #coalfree record is within reach!

Sheffield Solar actually estimate the generation from all solar assets, from large scale solar farms down to small scale domestic systems. Therefore this chart will include solar gen.
