@ShinglyGS listen i JUST started endwalker last night. i blew through half of hw, sb, and shb in like... a month and a half. i'm in DEEP dude. i leveled crafters and gatherers AND two classes bc i realized i was wasting too much xp if i did the ew campaign on my AST.

i've been playing so much ffxiv btw, it's been so good for my brain to just... do something chill. i have been feeling so BAD mentally and mindless tasks like gathering berries for mouse people and catfish is what i needed i think.

a couple weeks ago I found out one of my oldest viewers passed away she started following when I had 100 viewers she was super active in chat, funny, and helped turn my goofy dream of being a streamer into a full fledged career she was also trans, and my community was one of the few places she felt comfortable expressing that in so today in her memory im doing a charity stream for the Trevor project ty to anyone who tunes in or donates 🙇‍♂️ rip kanabana ❤️

I tried it so you don't have to: NEURALGIA, right arm! Two weeks in, it's very slowly getting better, but I'm still in a "It hurts and burns non-stop" state. From shoulder → triceps → forearm → pinky finger to now wrist and palm pain making my hand slow and shaky.

I was really worried that an hour of citizencon would have been a rehash deepdive on engineering. I'm surprised there wasn't more on base building, but I'm happy that what we saw is actually new and interesting.

@itsdtox @UofStanton Eve instances small amounts of group/solo content largely as a way to allow you to do something in a constrained manageable timeframe without having to compete with others for access. It's really good to get you playing if you don't have hours and hours.

@UofStanton I thought EVE didnt instance anything? I have concerns about open world activities being instanced, like Hathor - but until we actually know how they intend to handle severs/shards in the future (1 big one or multiple regionals, etc) my thoughts on instancing could change.

That was a pretty okay CitizenCon update! Most of my community scored it a "6/10", i would agree i guess. Some nice stuff! Nyx next month, tactical strikes, crafting. But - no base building update, and I have concerns about a -potential- overuse of instancing in the games future.
