If you’re running the Nationals, how do you not give Griff McGarry a few weeks in the MLB bullpen? There is not one reliever on that roster that would have made the 2026 Phillies bullpen.

The Nationals designated Griff McGarry for assignment to make room for Jorbit Vivas. If McGarry clears waivers, he will be offered back to the Phillies for $50,000.
