@alastairwalker Schools don’t really highlight careers like this anymore… Everyone is pushed towards law, finance or tech. I’ve never heard anyone talking about becoming a silversmith growing up. The only time I heard about silver or gold smithing in school was during history class

@Snarvix Unfortunately there is a 70% decline in young people learning these skills.

GM So silversmithing and watch making is now on the red list of endangered crafts for the first time. Without these skills we enter a world of 💩 mass produced plastic junk.
