@MarcNixon24 Lol. Of course. Called it. He will now claim that his was gicen am ELECTED majority.
Fucking liar.
English

@david_parker Ppc trying to split votes.....again
Carrying liberal water must pay really well
English

@alanfryermedia Amazing how so many posts are about booting Pierre 60 days after review gave him 88% approval. If these liberal propagandists put half the effort into spreading truths then we wpupd all be better lff.
English

I actually quite like him and believe he did an effective job of appealing to young people and working class Canadians. But, TBH, and given the mood of the country, I’m having a hard time seeing him as the leader who can beat Carney, this year or three years from now. There’s no particular rush anymore but I’m starting to believe he’ll be gone long before the next election.

Even if you dislike Poilievre, his potential ouster should worry you. I worry about national cohesion if he exits. Tory coalition will almost certainly split and, I suspect, separatist sentiment in the west will sky rocket. Might be good for the LPC, but really bad for Canada.
English

@cbcwatcher Nanosnsucks the liberal cock. He profits off them. He lies for them....admittedly.
English

Nik Nanos out here sounding the alarm on the 'Conservative vote collapse' in last night's byelections.
Those ridings were never in play for the Conservatives - safe Liberal turf in Toronto and a Quebec riding where they barely registered last time. Zero incentive for the base to drag themselves out for a pointless contest
But sure, let's pretend this is some seismic shift instead of low-turnout math. Nanos must be pumping Liberal tires... those sweet Liberal and PMO polling contracts don't renew themselves 🤣
English

@crypto_zeek @Gray_Mackenzie Are you an idiot???? Without Pierre pushing for this it would not have happened. In fact, liberals lile you was arguing against removing taxes just last week, now you celebrate. Propagandizing traitors
English

@Gray_Mackenzie The way PM Carney has been going, he will have majority in the next election whenever that happens.
Good bye Conservatives and social media bigots who represented them, and yes I am a long time conservative voter.
English

Mark Carney announced the Liberals will suspend the federal fuel excise tax on gas, diesel and aviation fuel starting on next Monday until Labour Day
The PM says this will remove up to 10 cents per litre on gasoline and 4 cents per litre on diesel fuel. #cdnpoli
English

@ryangerritsen Mass immugration will prevent comservatives from ever winning again. I dont see anything short of a national revolution saving us.
English

@RomanFisher__ Just stop you liberal propagandist. Jesus christ.
English

Guys, we went from 20+ pts up in the polls to Liberal majority in just over a year. We can talk about the biggest vote share since Mulroney and the gains in BC and Southern Ontario, but we’ve lost in the most ultimate way. This isn’t horseshoes or hand grenades.
We need to seriously consider new leadership if Poilievre and the current OLO can’t improve our position relative to the Liberals very soon. There is no virtue in losing again and I don’t think we’re on a winning path.
English

@MarysLe1 @brianlilley Same old shit from libtards. All the conservatives fault...
English

@brianlilley Now the Cons in parliament shut up and Canada gets down to business.
English

He got his majority.
Now what?
torontosun.com/opinion/column…
English

@brianlilley Bow he really profits while screwing Canadians (excluding the wealthy elitists)
English

@TWilsonOttawa Next is the proroguing and buying of 2 more MPS. Then they stack committees and silence questioning while forcing through their agenda 2030 bills and rob the people blind.
English

@alanfryermedia Conservatives have a lot of soul searching to do over the next 3 years. Do they really want Poilievre as the leader. Poilievre was the ring leader to get O’Toole thrown out. Who will step up to be the ring leader now?
English

A lot of non-Liberals are going to be disappointed as Carney secures a majority government tonight. And many will see that majority as illegitimate since it was secured through back room deals rather than earned in a general election.
Truth is, though, it’s not illegitimate. It’s just how our imperfect system works and has done for decades in favour of one party or the other. That said, it will certainly FEEL illegitimate to many Canadians. I know it will to me. But, really, who cares?
On the plus side, PM Carney will have one less excuse for not delivering on all those promised nation building projects at speeds unseen in generations — in spite of, or perhaps because of, his new circus-sized tent.
Let’s also hope the media finally finds its spine to start holding the majority circus performers, and not just the incredible shrinking Opposition, to account for what happens and what does not.
English

@alanfryermedia Not a chance he builds anything. Instead it will be pushing for gun control, mass immigration, ubi, human free zones, fake meat, centralized government control of everything, 15 minute cities, restricted travel, social credit scores, digital id.
This is all that will be built
English

@PrairieVeteran Next they prorogue and try to flip more MPs. Then they stack the committees and silence everything whipe ramming it all through
English

So many of the Left are celebrating the upcoming majority govt. One that was ONLY made possible via the floor crossers.
They won their last election on their hate for Trump.
Now the Prime Minister is about to get a majority govt and actually have unrestricted power over Canadians.
AND more power than than Trump has domestically. There is nothing in place to stop ANY of his decisions.
This is why people are concerned.
NO ONE should have that power over the voter no matter what party you belong to.
English

@VoteCanadaCom @liberal_party Liberals have already bought other crossers.
English

The Liberals @liberal_party now hold exactly 173 seats in the House of Commons, and this count delivers only the slimmest possible majority inside a chamber that contains 343 seats total. They require perfect discipline plus flawless attendance on every confidence vote just to stay alive in power. Two of those seats belong to former Conservative members who crossed the floor quite recently, and their loyalty looks questionable at best under real pressure. If those two members decide to vote against the government on any major confidence matter, while the full opposition bloc of 170 members stands completely united against the Liberals, then the result turns into immediate disaster for the ruling party. The government side would fall sharply to 171 votes in favor against 170 votes opposed, and that narrow defeat would force resignation followed by a general election that the Liberals desperately hope to avoid right now.
Such a sudden collapse sits only two votes away on any critical bill that comes forward, and even a single illness or unexpected travel delay could shrink their numbers still further before handing the win straight to the opposition. Mark Carney along with his inner circle now faces constant pressure every single day, so they must watch every caucus member closely for the smallest hint of rebellion or doubt. The floor crossers in particular represent a permanent and dangerous vulnerability because their past Conservative ties make them easy targets for quiet outreach from the other side. Every upcoming vote now carries the real and immediate risk of sudden collapse, and the opposition already smells weakness so they will probe aggressively for exactly these cracks during upcoming sessions and debates.
This slim majority rests on truly unstable ground instead of solid rock, which means the Liberals must now live with permanent high tension that never lets up. They scan their own ranks daily for any sign of wavering loyalty or hidden discontent, and two votes cast the wrong way at the wrong moment would send the entire government tumbling back to the polls in complete humiliation. The threat feels immediate and entirely plausible because the math leaves absolutely no room for error or any kind of forgiveness at all.
English

@mrsunshinebaby Bye bye Canada. Agenda 2030 in full swing now
