@videotechuk_ @SynthPotato PS5 Pro rendering and pop-in has seemingly been an issue since yesterdays update. I’ve noticed it in all three graphical/performance modes.

Crimson Desert Steam Reviews have gone up from “mixed” to “Very Positive” with 80% of reviews now positive.
It’s safe to say that the game that critics played and gave 6/10s and lower does not exist anymore as the insane speed of updates have already addressed the biggest issues

The distance rendering on PS5 Pro, and even the rendering overall, has gone down in quality ever since this latest patch for Crimson Desert.
Would really like to see this fixed since it kind of hurts the immersion factor.

Pearl Abyss provided @digitalfoundry with the PC equivalent visual settings for the PS5 and PS5 Pro PS5 Pro runs most basic settings at ultra settings (textures, model quality, lighting) and has better ray tracing. Now we're talking, the Pro is an excellent upgrade

Because two hours into a game of this scale is nothing.
Hard to take this opinion seriously when the type of game it is has been known for quite some time, too.

If you’re telling someone that they didn’t even give a game a shot after playing for 2 HOURS (which is the cutoff for getting a refund on Steam btw) and then proceed to tell them that if they suffer for another 6-10 hours then it will finally get good, you’re a fucking retard. I have played every action game you can think of and I 100% Elden Ring and loved it from the first 5 minutes of playing, I have played every elder scrolls and fallout game and most assassins creed games as well as red dead, Witcher, Zelda and many more open world games, and guess what? Every single one of them had me hooked within the first 5 minutes of playing. And to the retards saying I only play AAA games your a fucking moron lmao. I play indie and AA titles mostly like the trails series, persona, ninja gaiden, DMC etc. stop being so mad because someone doesn’t like a game you like, I didn’t even talk bad about the game I said what it did well and what it didn’t it’s called criticism, and instead of telling me to kill myself how about you have a counter argument that actually makes sense you dumbasses.

Let me tell you why my Wife is the best. The bidet I ordered off Amazon arrived yesterday and I successfully installed it all by myself. That's a nuts achievement because people think content creators don't go outside and can't handle IRL situations. Incredible. Not really though because I broke our other toilet on the first install attempt. I was terrified. I thought it was over. She comes home and instead of going nuclear she said "I'm really impressed you didn't give up after breaking the first toilet. Great job." Then I showed her how it works and I intentionally made it so the bidet water sprayed my face but I acted surprised and she laughed. Marriage is amazing.

Still feeling unsure on Crimson, controls definitely my main issue so far.
Visually is definitely the most “next-gen” look so far. Everywhere you look the game is so detailed.
If you want a game to get lost in without hand holding and like soul boss difficulty, get this game

@videotechuk_ My issue with the controls, decidedly, is not the inputs but the amount of inputs. It’s a lot to remember.
One thing they really need to clean up, at least on PS5 pro, is the textures of the rocks near bodies of water. I’m not sure what the terminology is, but they’re buggy.
