@mhdcode Some of us run these agents on remote hosts, you don't need a gui there

when opencode desktop app moved from tauri to electron, i've started using the desktop app exclusively.
it's been more than a month since i switched, and i've completely forgotten about their cli. all of my coding now happens through the desktop app.
now i'm wondering: how did we all end up convinced that cli agents were the future in the first place?

@MrAhmadAwais @MiniMax_AI @Scobleizer @CommandCodeAI Great! Just wish you would raise the 10 turn limit for headless mode

Will @AnthropicAI ever release a smallish an open-weights model like @OpenAI did with gpt-oss?
English

The Codex usage limits have been reset for all paid ChatGPT subscriptions. You should be back to 100% weekly and 100% hourly limits.
Let the tokens do incredible things today and have fun.
Tibo@thsottiaux
Five million users would agree. Resetting the limits tomorrow morning to celebrate. Time to go /fast
English

@Maciej25956571 @atomic_chat_hq you should check some stats, it is still heavily used
English

Liquid's LFM2.5-8B-A1B smashed OpenAI's gpt-oss-20b on tool calling
We ran both locally on a MacBook Pro M5 Max, 64GB, and gave each the same trip-planning request that only completes if the model fires all 7 tool calls - weather for 3 cities, two currency conversions, an email and a reminder
Outputs:
LFM2.5-8B-A1B: 4.8 GB RAM usage, 7/7 tool-calls, 266 tok/s, 6.9s
OpenAI gpt-oss-20b: 11 GB RAM usage, 3/7 tool-calls, 146 tok/s, 15.0s
The 8B used less than half the RAM and still fired all 7 calls, while the 20B silently dropped more than half of its own. It also ran ~2x faster, wrapping the full agentic request in 6.9s against 15s. That's what 38T training tokens buy: a 1B-active MoE that nails the agentic tool calls a model 2.5x its active size keeps dropping

@ryanvogel @opencode the hot servers is one of the best features of opencode for me, running it headless in VPS
English

@bridgemindai What a load of BS. What $50k are you making if you keep changing your SaaS every day, as you say, non-stop shipping...
English

I just bought my 3rd $200 Claude Max 20x plan.
That's $600/month on Claude alone.
And it's the best money I spend.
UltraCode is insane.
Claude Opus 4.8 is better than GPT 5.5 in my honest opinion.
While everyone else cries about UltraCode burning their usage, I'm running all 3 plans in parallel as BridgeMind scales to $1M ARR.
Here's what people don't get.
I'm a real builder with a real SaaS.
I made over $50K in Stripe revenue the last 3 months.
$600 for unlimited frontier AI isn't an expense, it's the cheapest employee I'll ever hire.
Three Max plans means I never wait, never throttle, never stop shipping.
Cry about usage or go make money with it.
Your choice.

English

@thsottiaux @giordanorandone @OpenAI I can attest to this because the product I was shipping was the one that held the launch because of bug :)
English

I am relatively sure that @OpenAI was caught off guard by Anthropic today and postponed the release unexpectedly.
I cannot really explain it any other way, given how damn quiet it was, even though every Codex Thursday usually comes with announcements, even if they are only small ones.
Today, there were a few small updates mentioned on the website, but they were not even properly announced on X.
And when you also consider that there was vagueposting by OpenAI staff just yesterday, everything points in that direction for me.
Are you guys disappointed, or do you think it is better this way?
English

@prateek_q @opencode No, it wasn't dumbed down. Just the free web chat version received some restrictions, nothing to do with the API.
English

@opencode usage has noticeably dropped over the last two days, which likely corresponds to the recent news about DeepSeek being dumbed down
English

@MrAhmadAwais no you can't, taste-1 is secretly eating your credit
English

@thsottiaux GPT-5.2-medium was my all time favorite workhorse! RIP
English

To simplify our Codex compute fleet management, we will be sunsetting GPT-5.2 and GPT-5.3-Codex in Codex on June 2nd when logged in with your ChatGPT account.
For free plans, GPT-5.5 will be the default frontier model to build and work with going forward.
These models will remain available on our API.
English

@justbyte_ None, I use deepseek api and review with Codex/ChatGPT free tier
English

@MrAhmadAwais @bentossell @CommandCodeAI 3.5 Flash is really creative I got to say, even more so when you give it the same task multiple times, it varies a lot in a nice way if you ask it.
English

@bentossell Definitely Gemini 3.5 Flash with @CommandCodeAI’s /design built taste.
Founder here. 🤘
