Ex-cyclist Jack Prince built a motorcycle race track in 1909 with #GeorgeHendee, inventor of the Indian Motocycle. The Springfield Stadium on Bay Street west of Jasper opened on July 4, 1909. Designed to host “any kind of athletic event,” it seems to have failed in two years.
