UCF's creative and production team is absolutely killing it with this series! As a fellow creative I have appreciation for this work. Hats off to the @UCF_Football on this amazing inside look at the team and the culture. They pulled about 10 sound bites from our show @LockedOn_UCF for this segment. Our goal has been to help drive conversation and engagement about UCF Athletics and I'm humbled they thought enough of our product to include small parts of our weekly discussion in their video. Since joining @LockedOnNetwork at the behest of my friend @Zblackerby we've grown so much and I've gotten to know some amazing people who I genuniely enjoy chopping it up with daily. @StatBoyDrew @JamesDuncanUCF @TheSoTG have all joined the team and I'm grateful to have these gentleman on the journey with me. Former #UCF coach Gus Malzahn has been added to the College Football Playoff selection committee, per a statement from the organization. He joins Louisiana AD Dr. Bryan Maggard and former Fresno State/Cal coach Jeff Tedford as new additions to the 13-person group.

So let me get this straight? You start your initial reply to Tony in a mocking way and then cry foul when Tony dismisses it? Sounds like you're the emotionally compromised one. NIL contracts can vary in their length of time. Many are one year deals, just like most scholarships. The multi-year deals are where it starts to get complicated. If players become employees, it becomes even more complicated. NC State allowed Will Wade to Will Wade. They settled with him instead of going after him for a breach of contract. That was the school's choice. It was also no surprise he did what he did.

@TonyBruin “Typically emotional response” = a silencing mechanism. And you still didn’t address the coaching inequity, as clearly coaches are willing/able to Will Wade whenever they wish. And most NIL athletes DO sign contracts. If you’re really a journalist, shouldn’t you know that?!?

Too many are equating this w/what coaches do. That's not why it fails. Coaches are employees w/contracts. The NCAA keeps telling us athletes are students first. Well, students get to transfer whenever they want. Otherwise, give athletes an employee contract. It's either/or

My NIL bill is simple. You get five consecutive years to play five seasons with one free transfer. If you choose to transfer again, you sit out a year. Proud to be leading the charge to SAVE COLLEGE SPORTS.
