@rock_breakin @joshwhitlatch And modern versions use discovered manuscripts, doesn't that bother you. If you think the kjv is less accurate than you are simple. Foreigners use the KJV whose first language English is not.

@TDandom1341 @joshwhitlatch Middle English didn't stop being used until the mid 1600's. The KJV is most certainly Middle English for at least one translation. Either way, it doesn't matter. I don't like using it. The language is antiquated and its less accurate for the modern reader.

I’m starting to encounter more KJV-only folks, and it’s wild how extreme some of them get. They’ll straight-up say you’re not saved if you don’t read only the King James Version. Condemning people to hell for loving Jesus through another faithful translation? That’s crazy.

I think I found them. As I suspected, I think you are dealing with the Steve Anderson bunch. I have locked horns with them before. They are trying to pass themselves off as IFB, but they are no such thing. They teach a host of false doctrines and are some of the most ignorant as well as arrogant people I have dealt with in 30 years of this. You will get nowhere with them. My profile says Never NIFB for a reason. They are an abusive Church organization that has been rejected by every Baptist Church I know. Little Stevie, the NIFB pope famously taught that Jesus had to suffer further after the cross, which is a damnable heresy also taught by the likes of Kenneth Copeland. I wouldn’t give them the time of day, and please do not let their ignorance reflect upon real Baptists!

I never knew the craziness from a specific group of KJV only people not all, was actually a thing. I’ve experienced hate that i didn’t think existed from so called fellow brothers in Christ, all I can do is pray for them and that they find the truth eventually.

@joshwhitlatch The KJV only crowd has actually turned me away from reading it. I don't like the middle English used and there are multiple version of it, just like every other translation, imo.
